How difficult are the building kits?

Our kits all have their own difficulty level. To help you make the right choice, we use a system from 1 to 5 stars :

⭐ = easy, perfect for beginners
⭐⭐ = fun and slightly challenging
⭐⭐⭐ = average, doable with some patience
⭐⭐⭐⭐ = spicy, requires concentration and perseverance
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = expert level, a real masterpiece!

In our webshop you can also easily filter by difficulty level , so you only see the kits that exactly match your level or the challenge you are looking for.

What age range are the kits suitable for?

Our building kits are designed for all ages , from about 8 years old. Some sets contain small parts or require a little more patience and dexterity, so younger builders are best served with an adult.

Please note: Due to the small parts, our kits are not suitable for children under 3 years .

This way, everyone, big or small, can safely and enjoy building beautiful miniatures! In the webshop, you can also filter by recommended age , making it easy to find a kit that's perfect for the builder.

How long does it take on average to make a kit?

The build time for our sets depends on your experience, concentration, and pace. Generally, kits range from about 1 to 10 hours , depending on the size and difficulty of the set.

For beginners, the smaller, simpler kits are often completed in an hour, while the larger and more challenging kits require multiple sessions. This allows you to decide whether you want a quick creative break or a comprehensive project lasting several days.

Are the materials sustainable?

At MiniMaker, we believe it's important that our miniatures are not only beautiful and detailed, but also sustainable and responsible . That's why most of our kits are made from eco-friendly wood and other sustainable materials .

This way, you can enjoy building, knowing you're purchasing a product that's sturdy, safe, and environmentally friendly. The use of natural materials also gives your miniature a warm, authentic look.

What if a part is missing?


Don't worry! Sometimes a part can get missing or damaged. We always do our best to get you a replacement as quickly as possible, so you can continue building and enjoying your miniature without any problems.

How do I place an order?

Ordering from MiniMaker is very easy!

Select one or more of our kits and click the "Add to Cart" button. Your shopping cart will automatically appear. Then click "Checkout," enter your address details, and pay securely with iDEAL, PayPal, credit card, Bancontact , or later via Klarna . Don't forget to accept the terms and conditions before completing your order.

Please note: ordering by telephone or email is currently not possible .

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, that's possible. Send us an email or contact us via Facebook or Instagram .

Please note: we process orders very quickly. Sometimes your order will be shipped before we receive your cancellation. In that case, you can still use the 14-day return period .

Canceling an order is an additional service we offer , and we're happy to help. It's not legally required.

Is ordering safe?

Absolutely! Our webshop runs on Shopify , one of the most reliable and secure e-commerce platforms worldwide. All data you enter, such as your address and payment information, is encrypted and sent securely .

You can pay securely with iDEAL, PayPal, credit card, Bancontact, or later via Klarna , without having to worry about your privacy or payment. This way, you can order your favorite kits with peace of mind and enjoy the creative process!

How can I pay?

At MiniMaker, you can pay for your order in several ways. We currently accept the following five payment methods:

  • iDEAL
  • Credit card
  • PayPal
  • Bancontact
  • Klarna – Pay later within 14 days (Netherlands) or 21 days (Belgium)

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay in any other way at this time.

Are there any costs associated with the payment?

No, at MiniMaker, you do n't pay any extra fees for using the various payment methods. Whether you choose iDEAL, PayPal, credit card, Bancontact , or Klarna , the price you see is the price you pay.

Do you also ship abroad?

Yes, that's possible! MiniMaker also ships internationally. You can select your country during the checkout process, after which the shipping costs and delivery time will be calculated automatically.

Please note: Delivery times may be slightly longer than for orders within the Netherlands or Belgium, and any import duties or taxes are the responsibility of the customer. This way, you know exactly what to expect and can order your favorite kits with peace of mind!

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs will be calculated automatically during checkout .

  • Letterbox package: €3.25
  • Parcel delivery within the Netherlands or Belgium: €5.95
  • Free shipping: on orders of €50 or more within the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Outside the Netherlands and Belgium: shipping costs are calculated based on the delivery address.

This way you always know exactly what you pay before you complete your order.

Which carrier do you use?

We use IntraPost to ship our packages. IntraPost works with several reliable carriers, such as PostNL, DHL, and GLS , to ensure your order is delivered quickly and safely.

This way you can be confident that your miniatures are in good hands during transport.

When can I receive my MiniMaker?

At MiniMaker we do the fulfillment ourselves so that we can keep the quality as high as possible
We do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
Orders placed before 4:00 PM are usually shipped the same day via IntraPost, and in many cases the next day (delivered on a business day).

The following applies to both the Netherlands and Belgium:

  • Ordered before 4pm → shipped the same day
  • Ordered over the weekend, delivered on Monday (letterbox packages on Tuesday)

If we are unexpectedly unable to deliver on time, we will of course notify you immediately.

Why can it sometimes take a little longer?

  • A letterbox package is sent by post, these do not expire on Mondays

  • Ordered on Sunday, delivered on Monday (letterbox parcels on Tuesday)

This way you know exactly when your miniature will arrive at home and you can look forward to building it with excitement!

Do the shipments have a Track & Trace code?

Once your order has been shipped , you'll receive an email from us with all the shipment details. This email also includes a track & trace code so you can follow your package from warehouse to door .

This way you know exactly where your miniature is and when to expect it!

Delayed delivery time?

Almost all of our orders ( ±95% ) are delivered on time, so you can quickly get started with your new miniature.

Sometimes, however, a package can be delayed . This is certainly inconvenient, but unfortunately, beyond our control. Most orders are delivered by PostNL , GLS , or DHL. For the Netherlands and Belgium, they are usually delivered the next day .

Please note: Unfortunately, PostNL often indicates "delivered" status for letterbox packages after the final scan at the sorting center. This is because the delivery driver doesn't have a scanner. Packages are usually delivered 1-2 business days after this notification.

If your order doesn't arrive, please contact us ! We'll work with you to determine the cause and ensure your package arrives safely.

Returns

Can I return my order if I am not satisfied?

Yes, that's possible! Kits can be returned within 14 days of receipt . Once we receive your return, we'll process it as quickly as possible, and you'll receive a full refund if all products are in good condition.

Please let us know before sending a return so that everything goes smoothly.

What are the conditions for a return shipment?

To make returning your order as smooth as possible, you will find our terms and conditions listed below:

  • Original condition
    To receive a full refund, the kit must be returned in its original condition . This means the box, plastic, labels, and contents must be intact .
  • No signs of use
    The kit must not show any signs of wear . We reserve the right to charge a depreciation fee if the product is damaged or appears to be used. As the consumer, you are always responsible for the return shipping .
  • Track & Trace required
    A Track & Trace code is required for every return shipment. Always keep the shipping receipt you receive at the parcel point.
  • Refund
    After we receive and approve your return, you'll receive a refund . Any return shipping costs will be reimbursed if you return outside of our returns portal.

I received the wrong product, what now?

That's so annoying! We'll certainly resolve this for you as quickly as possible. Please contact us immediately , and we'll ensure the error is corrected and you receive the correct product.

When will I receive my payment back?

Once we receive your return, we'll process it as quickly as possible . Any refunds will be processed within 5 business days . The time it takes for the money to appear in your account depends on your bank's processing time. We'll always keep you updated on the status of your refund.
